A Message From Mrs. Stroud

Dear Elementary Family,

Dear Families,

Can you believe we’re approaching the final days of the 2024–2025 school year? With only 11.5 days left, there is still so much to accomplish! These final days are just as important as the rest of the year, and we look forward to making the most of every moment.

This is a perfect time to celebrate our students, staff, and families. At Archie R-V, our mission is to provide a high-quality education in a safe, positive environment to foster lifelong success for all. Our vision is to be a district where everyone experiences success.

Over the course of the year, students have learned valuable lessons—not just academically, but also in building strong character. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to support student growth, and we are proud of the progress we’ve seen. Where have you noticed the most growth in your child(ren)?

A special shout-out goes to our elementary staff for embracing professional development and putting new learning into practice—often in ways that go unnoticed but make a big impact. And of course, thank you, families, for your unwavering support. Whether it’s helping with academics, ensuring good attendance, or building strong relationships, your partnership has made a difference. When schools and families work together, incredible things happen!

Counselor's Corner by Mrs. Johnston

career

Dear families,

We are learning about careers in character education this month! As the school year comes to an end, it provides us with a great opportunity to talk about what adults do for their jobs each day. Students of all ages benefit from hearing about the various career paths available to them. The career paths we will discuss include:

  • Arts/ Communications/ Humanities.

  • Creative, visual, craft and performing arts

  • Education

  • Engineering/ Industrial Systems

  • Social/ Human Services

  • Business Systems

  • Health Services

  • Natural Resources

We are so excited to be hosting a career week May 13-16th! There will be guest speakers in the gym during specials each day who will share with students about the training required for their job, as well as the day-to-day activities each career entails. We will get to hear from a hairdresser, a conservation agent, a physical therapist, a radio DJ, a policeman, a member of the military, a meteorologist and maybe a few more. We are grateful to our guest speakers and so appreciative to be able to present this learning opportunity to our elementary students.

Warmly,

Mrs.Johnston, Archie School Counselor,

A heartfelt thank you to our Parents as Teachers families and dedicated PAT educators for your partnership and support throughout the year!

Preschool enrollment is now open!
If you're interested in enrolling your 3- or 4-year-old in one of our preschool programs, please contact Kristi Reynolds at the number listed below. We are hopeful that there will be no cost to families for the 2025–26 school year.
