OUR MISSION “LEARNING FOR LIFE”

The mission of the Archie R-V School District is to provide a high quality education in a safe, positive environment to foster lifelong success for all.

OUR VISION

The vision of the Archie R-V School District is to be a district where everyone experiences success.

A Message From Mr. Schulte

Dear Whirlwind Patrons,

As we move into February, I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for your patience and diligence as we worked through Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days at the start of the semester. While AMI days are not ideal, and we know in-person learning is far more effective, your cooperation ensured that these days remained productive for our students. Thank you for your flexibility and commitment to learning.

I also want to extend my appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the 95th Annual Archie Tournament. Whether you attended, volunteered, or helped behind the scenes, your support made a difference. A special thank you to the After Prom Committee, who organized and prepared meals for the tournament, as well as those who supported the After Prom Committee by purchasing meals throughout the week. Your efforts help create meaningful opportunities for our students, and we are grateful for your dedication.

I want to let everyone know that this month we will begin recognizing students of the month at the middle and high school. Teachers will nominate and vote on students who demonstrate outstanding command of the character trait for the month.

Lastly, midterm progress report grades will be in the Infinite Campus portal by the end of the week. This would be a great time to check your student's grades. If you have questions or concerns, be sure to contact your child's teachers.

Thank you for all you do to make our school community #ArchieSrong!

Mr. Schulte

Respect

The character word for February is Respect!

Showing respect means behaving in a way that shows you care - about others, yourself, property, or the earth. Ways to show respect range from using manners and kind words to eating foods healthy for your body. Take care of things belonging to you and others, and make good choices to take care of the environment.

It is really important that students respect themselves, understanding their worth and that they deserve positive treatment from others. If they don't, they will attract the wrong type of friends for themselves and will be treated in a way that they don't desire or deserve.

Three general ways to guide respect that we talk about in Character Education:

  • Show respect to yourself.

  • Show respect to others.

  • Show respect to property.

Here are some examples of how to show respect to others:

    • Be a good listener.

    • Understand someone's point of view.

    • Express your needs and wants in a direct, calm and respectful way.

    • Respond in a timely manner if someone requests something.

    • Acknowledge what others do well.

    • Let people know you appreciate them.

Infinite Campus

The Archie R-V School District previously used the Tyler Student Information System (SIS); however, due to company changes, we were required to change systems. Many of you have completed on-line registration on our new system, Infinite Campus. A BIG shout out to Mrs. Becky Deardorff and Mrs. Michelle Mell for their leadership throughout this transition.

We ask that you have patience and understanding throughout this school year as ALL staff and families will be navigating this new system. Our administrative assistants will do their best to answer your questions or get back to you with an answer as soon as possible. Again, thank you for your patience.
